Angela is a New Jersey Licensed Social Worker originally from Central NJ; she is working towards expanding her licensed experience to Pennsylvania. She received her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and Bachelor of Social Work at West Chester University. Angela is currently providing outpatient mental health services to teenagers, adults, and families. Angela began her social work career working with the HIV adult population by providing trauma informed care and therapy. It has evolved to experiences working with children and the geriatric medical community.
Angela values self-care on days off and enjoys spending time outside by reading a book, walking in town, and being with close people.
Angela creates the content for the Melanated Healing Blog. She is motivated to provide education to increase awareness of mental health concerns, destigmatize therapy and provide techniques and strategies to support you on your healing journey.
